OUR STORY

Georgia Communities, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Georgia's families and seniors.  We are a designated Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) with a mission for addressing housing needs within targeted areas of our state.

Georgia Communities was established in 2015 by a team of affordable housing experts passionate about delivering housing solutions that work for families and the neighborhoods in which they live.  We do this by partnering with local governments and non-profit entities to catalyze holistic, place-based strategies for expanding access to opportunities.

Here at Georgia Communities, we want to offer more than housing development and ownership expertise.  We want to be a trusted partner with a long-term interest in the neighborhoods we serve.  One way we do this is through our Community Catalyst grant program, which we created to fund innovative strategies formulated and led by our community partners.
